Mr. Benner graduated from Valparaiso School of Law in 2004 and was admitted to practice in Nevada in the same year. Mr. Benner has practiced in diverse areas of civil litigation, having specialized in real property law, secured transactions, and premises liability defense. Mr. Benner has practiced extensively before the Nevada Court of Appeals, the Nevada Supreme Court, and the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Benner has also applied his undergraduate degrees in biology and electrical engineering as a patent attorney, having prosecuted several device patent applications to issuance.
Mr. Benner and his wife enjoy traveling, having viewed the northern lights and several total solar eclipses throughout North America, dogsledding in Canada, walking Stonehenge in England, touring the fjords of Norway, and circling Uluru in Australia.
